Ryanair announce Polish expansion.
Ryanair has announced it will open from October 2014 two new Polish bases - Warsaw Modlin and Gdansk.
From Modlin, it intends to launch a new route to Madrid Barajas and to increase frequencies to Gdansk, Shannon and Wroclaw.
It is estimated that these new routes will deliver 1.9m customer per year, with 268 weekly flights.
Few days before, Warsaw Modlin Airport announced Category II Instrument Landing System will be ready for use from 1 May 2014.
Next to the domestic flights inauguration, new flights to Alicante,Spain and Shannon, Ireland were opened on 2nd April,and on the previous day – flights to Thessaloniki, Greece.
